The latest Powerwall from Tesla can hold 13.5 kWh, in easy terms the battery can power a 1kW heater for 14 hours or your oven for 6 hours. Pairing the Tesla energy battery storage with Solar Photovoltaic Panels is a big step towards becoming self-sufficient reducing your reliance on the national grid drastically if not eventually entirely, you can keep track of the whole process on your phone. These screenshots of one of our recent installations show how yesterday they were 99% self-powered and where their energy currently being generated is being used.
With a 10-year warranty, easy installation and no maintenance the Powerwall can be installed inside or outside and floor or wall mounted making it easy to suit the preferences you have for your household. It is child and pet friendly due to no hot vents or exposed wires, dustproof and water resistant for outdoor installation, operates with almost no noise and its internal inverter is used to lower cost and complexity by converting the energy from DC to AC.
The battery can be used without Solar Panels by charging from the National grid when electricity is at its cheapest to be used when the electricity is at peak times and therefore more expensive. The battery is either used when solar power is not generating enough energy (such as sunset) or during power outages.
